Winter Activities
Located near Briançon, Serre-Chevalier Vallée is home to the splendid Fortifications of Vauban in Briançon and Mont-Dauphin (listed as UNESCO world heritage sites).
The area’s fauna and flora are also worth exploring.
In winter, our hotel offers:
- Rides on the Prorel cable car (at only 200m)

Every Wednesday during the winter holidays, the Vauban slope (Briançon) is open from 7 pm to 10:30 pm with entertainment (torchlight descent, DJ, magician, SNOOC, etc.)
Altitude Jazz Festival
Mid-January (e.g., January 15th to 24th) — concerts in the valley, on the slopes, and in local venues
Ski Show Demo
During the winter holidays, ESF instructors offer demonstrations on the snow front, sometimes combined with fireworks or evening entertainment.
Parades / DJ Sets
In February, Aravet transforms into a large dance floor with a DJ; Costumed parades in Briançon on February 20th and 27th
Snowkite Masters
Snowkiting competition and demonstrations at the Col du Lautaret.
Wine Fair in Chantemerle
Early March: friendly gatherings and local tastings.
Tracea, night ski touring race
In Monêtier-les-Bains, in the evening.
